Although it's about two degrees outside right now in Portland, it LOOKS really warm from inside, and it makes me think of bright purple shadows and teal in my water line. I love spring for makeup (and for everything else)! I like that I can still wear some color and not feel over done, but I get to be more playful and get some inspiration from all the energy and love in the air! This one comes with a challenge:

I just wore that purple eyeshadow today that you helped me pick out. I'll have to try it with the teal. I love colors probably way more than any 32 year old should.

ReplyDeleteTried the new NARS gloss sticks. Um. Yeah. Awesome, awesome, awesome. They are not wimpy in the slightest. Sooo, I guess I hope to perfect the idea of a "neutral" lid (hard for me to do) and slathering on that wonderful color on my lips.
ReplyDeleteI always use colors on my lids. This week alone; pink, dark green, greenish/grey, and today is orange. Why be normal?
I tried the teal in my water line with the purple shadow, and then I went overboard and wore Lipstick Queen bright pink glossy pencil. I'm sure people think I look ridiculous, but I loved it. I have to get some of that NARS gloss stick. Next time I'm in you should help me pick one out.
ReplyDeleteNARS also just released for Spring their Angelika lip gloss!! It's the same color profile as the blush of the same name, but so pretty on the lips!! Think lawyer Barbie, not too over the top but a super cute pink (and yes, super cute really is the best way to describe it)!
