Noir Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner

Noir Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner

I wear different, often intense, colors on my eyes everyday, but the thing I wear every day--and I mean every day--is black eyeliner in my waterline. I tend to befriend sales associates at different makeup lines. Armani’s sales associate Joey told me that he really liked that I wore that look everyday....that I made it my own. I am not sure if he was subtly insulting me or complimenting me, so I’ll assume it was a compliment.

As I said before, I am constantly looking for the nirvana of products, and black eyeliner is a big one. I’ve bought many different blacks, looking for an intense black that goes on smoothly and lasts, so I don’t have to reapply.

My Blush girls pointed me in the direction of Noir. Haven’t ever heard of that line, you say? Well, let me introduce you to a fantastic line where everything in it is black (noir...get it?). I have tried the thick liner (pretty good), the regular (non waterproof) pencil, and the pot liner where you need to use a brush. And I am totally smitten with the retractable waterproof eyeliner. It is amazing.

The biggest testament to my love of this product is that I have repurchased this liner three times. I don’t repurchase ANYTHING. In my mind, there’s always something else out there that’s equally as good or better. Let me say that there’s nothing better than this one. Firstly, the color is deep, rich black. Secondly, the application is flawless...not pulling or gloppy too soft application, and lastly, this stuff is still there at the end of the day, which for a lazy girl, is total nirvana!

  2. Hi Rachael--mascara is tricky. I like the volumizing ones that make my eyelashes feel really fake. My current fav is Chanel inimitable in dark black. I also bought MAC's Opulash, which works well too. I like Armani's Eyes to Kill too. I have tried the various drug store brands, but I really feel like they don't come off easily at the end of the day. I use Nars' eye makeup remover, which really takes off everything--but not the Maybelline or the Cover Girl ones. Blush has ones that are softer--like Blinc, which comes off in warm water--in tubes from the lashes. I hope that helps. As always, I believe you should go into Blush and try a few. They have a huge array of mascaras.
